Our art auction was the most successful art auction thus far, and we aim to make the fanfic auction just as good (if not better)! The auctioned ‘item’ is a fic commission (like the auction AO3 just did). Ours doesn’t even start for 6 or 7 weeks, so there shouldn’t be any issues with overlap. There is a detailed ‘author guidelines’ form to make sure you don’t get requests you aren’t comfortable writing (think along the lines of the johnlockchallenges fic exchange but with more detailed questions). And your efforts will help make Tumbl Con USA the best it can possibly be. We have some great Sherlockian ideas already!!! I’d tell you what they are, but then I’d have to kill you… and then we’d have to solve your murder through clever deductions.

On Saturday July 19, 2014, Steam Powered Giraffe will be performing a live concert at Tumbl Con USA. They will also be doing a meet-and-greet, as well as a panel. We are ecstatic to have them on board for our first year. Come join us in Chicago!

Tumbl Con USA- July 18-20th 2014- Chicago IL 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Any age, gender, race, religion, sexuality, IS PERMITTED. We are an equal opportunities band of brothers (or sisters), and we do not discriminate.
• However, if you wish to apply for the position of CO-HEAD AND/OR TREASURER, YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18. This is a recent rule, and you must be comfortable with sharing head duties with the current 17 year old leader.
• MUST be available at least once a week for a possible meeting, and be easy to contact and available in between meetings. Generally, this would mean skype, email, or tumblr.
• MUST be willing to put in work! 

In addition, it would be helpful if you had artistic skill, but CERTAINLY ISN’T MANDATORY.
